Beadwork by Mary Lea
Hello and welcome to my website!  First let me tell you a little bit about myself and my work.  I live on a farm in the northwest corner of Washington State.  I have a variety of animals, including horses, cows, goats, dogs and cats.  Many years ago I inherited a silk stocking box full of glass beads from my great grandmother and one rainy, boring day decided to teach myself beadwork.  After a year or so of making earrings, braclets and necklaces, I once again became bored and purchased a loom.  That first plastic loom soon evolved in a better loom, then several different  sizes of looms!  People saw and admired things I'd designed and made for my horses and dogs and it wasn't long before a hobby became a business.  Presently I have items all over the continental United States, as well as in Canada and Australia.  I specialize in custom, personalized indian style loomed beadwork on horse halters, breast collars, and nosebands, and dog and cat collars.  I also do belts, hat bands, hair barrettes and keychains and am willing to give almost anything a try!  (And yes, I still do earrings, braclets and necklaces)!   Please keep in mind as you browse my pages that you're seeing just a small sample of all the things I've made.   Feel free to e-mail me for prices and more information!  I hope to hear from you soon!
